i made a quick video showing the new updates to the project, its the first ive ever done, so dont be critical. i used a program called "vegas 9.0".
its set to "the black dahlia" by lamb of god.
some of the updates include
*improved gfx
*fixed aiming engine
*fixed zombie deaths
*new animations
also, for some reason it seems free image hosting deleted all the picture files, or the website is down or something, because it didnt seem like the pictures are loading. ill try to re-up them to a new site and fix the stuff. (nvm, they workin now)
I'm guessing that they get that abrupt lobotomy only when you aim for the head? Are other parts of the body affected like that, such as shooting them in the legs to make them slower?
@james - yeah, only when you shoot the head, and its not as easy to do anymore, what with no sights and its the top of their head, and yeah i want to do something like that with the legs, it should be easier than the head, i just need to draw up a crawling animation and maybe a "ya shot me leg" animation. come to think about it, i could problably just do that for the head too, and wouldve saved a whole crap of time... poop.

@beam - too intense? naaah. i used to have the heads blown clean off, but the top of the head makes it a bit more difficult. perhaps with what i said to james if i could make some animation so that when you shoot at the jaw a couple times, the head almost rips of and hangs behind him or something, making it even harder to shoot the brain out. the character was actually based on axel from guitar hero (lol, hott! ) i havent thought of a name yet, but i aslo got to add the 2nd player character, i have no idea tho yet.
It looks really nice but this game could definately use hwa type lightning effects. Cause lighting pixels by pillow shading them won't add the dramatic effect unfortunately :/
