You know ... I've pretty much accomplished what I set out to do with the code, BUT I will not post it without any interest in the project.
If you're here and have at least looked at some of the old codes I attempted, please let me know ... post a comment, say hi, make yourself known and tell me if you wish for me to continue with this project.
I currently have a really good-looking base code with no glitches (as far as I can tell) ... I've commented some of it and plan on posting it for members of the project (currently there are none other than myself), and may even post it for everyone if enough interest is shown.
There's already a few of the old unfinished attempts posted. But what I now have is a finished complete and stable base code, with all the basic issues solved.
I'd still like to add tricky stuff like Slopes, upside-down and side-ways changing gravity, Swimming, Flying, Sliding on ice, climbing ladders and trees, etc.
Of course, that will all come later (unless a member wants to tackle it) as I need to play with some of that stuff in a regular platformer first before attempting it in 2.5d.
For now I'm going to play around with helping a few people, and playing with fancy platforming stuff, then later on, if and when you good folks start to show some interest in my work I will continue with it.
Thanks to those of you who have been interested enough to have read my words. I will check in to see if interest rises any.
