Just a little update. I'm working on new areas now, already drawn out all the new tiles and graphics for the next area so it's just putting them into a few levels. But the reason for this update-
The 360 controller option, so far it's locked to this setup but if enough people request customisation after launch I'll stick it in an update.
There are some special buttons later in the game, one of the updates adds something new to the run button but it doesn't deviate from this setup too much.
Oh and forgot to add - back now goes back a menu on the title and online menus. It's all fairly typical stuff I guess!
Well full 360 support has been in for a while but yup, thanks to you Sumo I thought about adding dpad support ! Not sure about Dualshock support though... I sent a test app to AndyUK last night and just the left analogue stick and the buttons worked. I'm sure I could come up with something if there was enough call for it. Tis! But I've only tied it into loud sounds, screenshake and as you approach secrets areas. But sounds and other effects tie in with them so you don't really miss anything.
Comment about the images on the main project, that say "Trailers" and "Details":
Maybe add a thin white outline to them? On darker themes, the black blends right in.
You would need to be able to change the setup if you wanted to play without an Xbox 360 controller since the buttons aren't mapped to similar buttons on all controllers.
By the way James I did make loads of notes on which button is what on the 360 and Ps2 controller when getting my ps2 controller to work on Left 4 dead split screen. I got it working eventually.
If i can find them you might even be able to just have a 360 and non 360 controller mode. (I think stanadrd usb pc controllers are pretty similar to the Ps2 controller actually.)
