Depending if i can get my HDD repaired after it blew up, i might be able to get some work done on Webit 2.0 and get it out by summer 2010 as im on placement and now have my evening back! (i need a project to get on with)

But with the costs of data recovery over £300, this is debatable (man, i should have backed up the source!!!)

So fingers crossed!

Have you tried using an external HDD adapter with a different power source? I managed to save my old HDD after I was sure it was dead by rummaging around and finding a computer with a smaller power supply.

It was a power surge - my hdd let off smoke! (and it was in a external hub at the time! lol)
