I made some more documentation on the game. Here are more specific features about the game.
Robot Engineering:
Each battle bot will have 12 slots to place equipment that will determine its effectiveness in battle. There will be a wide range of assortment of items that the player can pick from. There will not be an rpg style buying or upgrading system where you have to gain experience to use certain parts. There will simply be pros and cons to each part that the player will have to strategically determine how to mix and match to make the best bot. The following item slots for each bot are as follows:
Visual Component
Body Component
Mobility Component
Left Side Weapon Component
Right Side Weapon Component
Chip
Engine
Battery
4 Utility Slots
The bots will be assembled before battling at a workshop. There will be various types of weaponry in the game such as ranged, melee, demolition, etc.
Game System:
There will be 1 on 1 battles, as well as 2 v 2 battles that will emphasize teamplay. There will be a ranked system with titles to the bots with the most wins overall. There will also be a new gamemode called Obstacle Course that will be more of a "which bot is smarter" contest rather than a battle.
I am going to plan with all my strength to finish this game. I really want to see a successful MMO game using MMF2.
