development has continued, and looks like it's well underway to full completion by the end of the month. it would be cool to have a spooky (or at least Halloween-ish) game released by the time Halloween rolls around.
things recently addressed:
--all graphical dithering issues addressed, and this is no longer a problem
--altered father ryan to look actually like father ryan, instead of some deranged "sock puppet" head or something
--fixed the respawning of zombies, which somehow fouled up along the way
--fixed group events that occur once the player successfully ends the level
next on the agenda:
--cloud effects which make the game more atmospheric
--graphics and coding for additional traps, snares, or barriers that pop up suddenly
further developments to be completed:
--additional level designs; i actually had a couple of these worked out previously, so it's a matter of transferring them from graph paper into the game level
--complete cut scenes; photos had been taken already; this is just a matter of cutting them out, pasting them to a new file, and creating a background for each.
--start screen, user interface
--bonus level (if there's time)
--flash implementation (this has been an aspiration all along)
--update the graphics for the beer powerups
--now that i have thought about it, updating the graphics for the zombies may be a good idea
i will add in new screenshots very soon. graphically, the game is coming together nicely.
it's about time i added a new version of the game to download, as the old version is very old compared to what i have now. that will also be done soon.
