Overall progress might be slow, but yesterday I added a complete new level. The demo now actually has three levels, but at the moment only the third one is playable. And that is to do you guys a favour (or was it just for me).
That favour will be removed with the next update, so play the third level while you can:

About cans ...
A steel barrel fishhead is walking in your way, you can jump on his head but that won't hurt him. You can try to push him, but he won't take notice of your actions and will only push you harder!!!
That said, just watch out and enjoy this update
