Hello all! Hoping that The Daily Click will somehow be saved from oblivion, I want to continue with the devlog again today. I'm happy to say that major piece in the H2 puzzle has now been completed in the Beaker Buffett.
This store has been around for years actually, however I just now added the NPC you can find to get it up and running. You see, although there are many instant health food items you can find or win throughout the game's areas, you will also occasionally find ingredients that can't be eaten as-is right away so they're saved up.
Which is where the BB comes in. From here you can select from your list of found ingredients that you want to try and mix in the CONVIENIENT NEARBY MIXING BOWL. It acts like a simplified Horadric Cube (Diablo 2) however if you choose 2 ingredients that don't combine correctly the meal with "fail" and you'll lose those 2 ingredients forever.
And be wary, for some combinations might not have beneficial effects at all (though this is rare).
It's just another way to give players the option to heal themselves up (a big complaint with H1), WITHOUT being too wussy I suppose.
