Normal Mode will receive main changes.

Hey there. I've been thinking of changing normal mode, kinda almost completely. The concept in my head will turn the game much more interesting as it will be really challenging and will give the game kinda of a purpose.

Here's the deal:
*Instead of starting the game in the middle of the map, you will start it in the left.
*Same things for building round.
*When night begins, monsters will come from the right. There will be an enemy castle, structure, or something like that. Your objective is to damage that structure so you break it completely.
*When it's broken, a Purple jewel will be exposed and the boss for the current level will show up. You have to defeat it, then damage the Jewel as much as you can. The enemy jewel will obviously be way stronger than yours.
*After you damage the jewel, the enemy structure will appear again. You'll have to destroy it again so you can deal more damage to the enemy's jewel.
*When the jewel is destroyed, you will proceed to the next level, where a different boss and structure and a more powerful jewel will wait for you.
*Final level = Cthulhu.

I think the game will be much more fun with these changes. I REALLY need to know y'all opinion about this so I can start making the changes ASAP.

Could be fun. Though you could also just consider adding this as another game mode, while keeping the old ones too. The more the merrier.

@Windybeard games, thanks! I'll start working in that game mode today.

@HitmanN yes, I will probably keep the old game mode as "Classic". Would some changes in the Main Menu do good as well?

Sounds fun but i think keeping the normal survival mode as well is a good idea

The game mode idea is nice. I think Survival as it is seems a bit too basic, while I do love the fast paced nature of your combat, there's not enough to the combat in my opinion (at least YET!) for it to be dedicated an entire game mode. I would instead use the castle-in-the-center-against-unlimited-waves-of-monsters as my Survival mode, but that's just me. Either way I love the look of this game!

Or, as the others suggested, put both in! The more variety the better. Maybe you could rename the combat-only based survival mode to Horde mode or the like.

yes, yes, mister, I'll put both modes in. The actual "normal mode" will be kept as "Survival Mode" and the new one will be called "Campaign", I guess. ^^
