I just had this idea a couple of days ago and it will probably become the third and the last minigame of Malayalam - Island of Mysteries (the other two being Crab Arena and Bird Hunt).
This is different from the others in that it involves dynamic content. The idea is to arrange online fishing tournaments lasting anything from a couple of days to a couple of months, where all Malayalam players can participate in by catching different fish while playing the core game.
So basically in the game it's possible to catch some 20 different fish species of different size, depending on the location, fishing equipment, time of day, temperature etc. The winner of the tournament is the one who finds the biggest fish of correct type. Tournament rules can be retrieved from the server and score posted once a suitable fish is caught.
This is probably just more work than what it really is worth, but gives me a good excuse to delay the release... 
Also I'm so lazy with bug fixing. New features are so much more fun to implement, or what do you think?
