The Engine and Some Platforms

This game is based on a soundtrack I'd developed for a Sonic Parody called Jasper Jackalope:

That game never game to fruition, but I still wanted to make a game with the music. This game may even share level structure with Jasper Jackalope, but I've expanded the concept to include other video games besides Sonic. This is not going to be so much an I Wanna Be The Guy style mashup of different video game sprites and music, but more taking the concepts themeselves from old platformers and remaking them into something new.

I've been working on the engine and right now I have the core engine and some basic platforms. I'm going to start working on some level gimmicks next.
