Yay, 1% left! I hope that 1% is enough to make the last adjustments to the balance and tackle those few little remaining bugs in the game. Then I can finally release this one. Though I'll probably submit it to FGL first to see if these type of simulation games have any demand in that market. It's definitely not the most used genre out there in flash games.

One thing I've definitely learned by doing this project is that fastloops and MMF2 Flash isn't quite the easiest combination... and this is the kind of game where one really would like to use fastloops to do stuff. But due to performance issues in flash, I have needed to use various workarounds and alternative ways of doing things. The end result is not optimal, but I'm still very satisfied with the fact that I was able to pull it off in flash to ensure much larger audience for the game than what it would've been with exe. Certain compromises had to be made, but to be able to bring the game to the masses through flash gaming sites is a big plus for me personally.

An iPad version would be pretty awesome to have, but the porting process is not the most straightforward in this particular case, so that will probably have to wait. At least until Clickteam improve the functionality of sub apps in their iOS runtime. This game uses quite a lot of sub applications.

I also slightly improved the Hotel Preview application which I mentioned in the previous dev log. You can now view stats on each hotel by clicking the small "?" signpost on the left side of the yard. Here's one lousy motel... in hell: http://goo.gl/YKHOC . That's a kind of special scenery which is not normally used but I added it there for fun as an unlockable item.

Other things I've done lately is this small site: http://www.digicroc.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=61&Itemid=54 and an Online Guide (wip): http://www.digicroc.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=55&Itemid=54
