Project Overview
This soccer game is the sequel of a funny offline multi-player game I once made. That game was

called "VKW vs. Fitboys", after two amateur soccer clubs nearby. Unfortunately the game got

lost and also the screenshots that came with it. Now I have gathered a team for this game to

make sure that it will be the funniest soccer game ever made

There are a few reasons why VKW vs. Fitboys was so different compared to regular soccer game:

1. You control all the players of the team at the same time
2. There was no referee, because you couldn't slide a player down. You got the ball by just

running towards it.
3. There was a stunning "Formation Editor", because when some of the players hit the wall, they

stopped and the formation wasn't the same anymore. That's why you could press 1 to 4 to line

them up again in one of the four formations that you set yourself.
4. There was no keeper. I just didn't think of one when I made the game.
5. Teams had only 5 players on a soccer field that had a size of 640 x 480.

Some of the features of the old game will also be in the sequel. That also includes controlling

your whole team by one player. This was the main reason for the fun I think and it is also very

handy, because I am planning online-modes in this game.

I've tried to make a sequel before, which had the name of Silly Willy Cup. That game featured

an create-your-team mode, with fully customizable soccer players (mustache, hairstyle, skin

colour et cetera), but it was never finished. It was too complex and I did not make a plan how

to handle it. Well that part, the custom-player part, will be in the game too. It combines the

best of both and an online mode as a desert.

When you start the game, the players will walk to a position to make a group photo and the

team's song will be played. When the photo's are taken, the players take their positions. There

will also be two "journalists" who give their thoughts about the game. You will be able to

actually see them talking in the sky-box * that's positioned above the seats for the audience.

This will be my first soccer game that has a referee walking in the field. He will not dodge

the ball when it comes to him (I have no idea how to realise that), but he will just give it a

kick or walk a little bit with it, to make things more funny. When the game is played online, a

third person can take over the referee to play along a little bit. I am still deciding whether

I give him the ability to actually shoot the ball in one of the goals or not But this will

be quite funny I guess.

When the game is over the view will go a studio where the 2 journalists are, giving you a

detailed thought of the game (maybe replays but that will get difficult, especially online).

There is also a dug-out in the game for both teams. Both teams can have 2 player behind sitting

on the bench with a coach shouting "go on", "are you a pussy?", "wtf is this" and things like

that, next to them.

The length of the game and some other things (speed of the players) will be fully customizable.

I had that already in the first Vkw vs. Fitboys. Well there is a screenshot under this text to

demonstrate to you how it actually looks. It is very beta-style, it's the first day I worked on

it. The hardcore gamer can also see that the soccer player is from Earthbound for SNES. He is

likely to change when the game launches. He's so funny though Notice that the sky-box and

the second row of seats are not yet made. Also the team is not complete. Once again it's very

beta. I'll give you a second view in a few weeks.

So what I need to know from you guys:
1) Do you think you'll like this game (why/why not?)
2) Would you guys make up a name for this game? Now it's still VKW vs. Fitboys 2 but there will

be much more teams than these 2. Like the Dutch team, English, Brazilian etcetera Only with

not as much players as in real matches

Well that's about it, thanks for reading this piece I'm out. *IGLO*
