Weekly update #2
Posted 9th Aug 08, by Blue66
Honestly, I don't have a lot to say. All I'm doing now is concentrating on a good gameplay (well at least gameplay that I like and that means action and no boredom). I've removed a lot of speech from NPCs because I felt like it slows down the game. Right now the Metrovania-style starts fading away and the game gets its own unique feeling. But I guess that's what every designer says about his own work... oh well...

Edited the desciption a little so represent the current state of the game better...

Btw I'm really sorry if my english sounds weird. I'm not a native speaker and most of my english comes from the simpsons, which I liked better with original voices so I've watched almost every episode in english

Your English is brilliant, no need to apologise there

Didn't even know you weren't English/American - i wish i spoke a second language anywhere near as good as you can!

So there won't be the level system you used in your previous game, but more like a set of areas linked together? If that's the case I think it's real cool, as long as you can travel fast to any desired destination.

You learned your english via Simpsons... that's pretty awesome... I learned most of it from various computer games, but I also learned a lot in school.

Thanks guys

There will be no seperate levels anymore. You're right, instead there are several areas linked together where you can travel between. I'm trying to keep the paths as short as possible so you don't have to run all across the whole game to get to your next mission objectives.
