So I really started to not like the way my tiles looked and thought I'd do something a little different. After working with a limited color palette for a Christmas Pixel Gift. I thought I might as well try to do my own tiles with as few colors and shades as possible. (Still working on that.)
So, after doing some pixel research (takes forever, still not satisfied with examples), I think I settled on a style. (Or not, sometimes I can't tell.) Any ways, I think I've improved a little bit, but I've got tons more to do. I still like how this little section came out however, and hope to see better results later on. Here's what I came up with.
(After grabbing a second away from the holidays, family, new nephew, and double Christmas. (One for each sister.) Did I mention younger brother's friend get together today?)

Oh yeah, I'm gonna work more on the main characters shading too. And the animation.
(That's gonna kill me.)
Hate forgetting things. Critique and Comments are welcome please. (I think I use too much dither on the floor tile, but I'm not sure.)
