Progress is slow but steady. This is pretty much the only thing I'm working on in my spare time, since the rest of my day is eaten up by job hunting and helping my wife take care of our baby daughter.  So, yeah, Paper Kart's gonna have to sit it out for a while.
Anyway, it has occured to me that Ikkin is the only character in the game so far with a diverse set of voiceclips. Other NPCs have anywhere from 1-3 voiceclips, while she has a good dozen or so. I'm thinking that I could bring a little more life to the other characters by giving them more grunts and one-liners.
I could probably get a few voice sets from Soundsnap and other such sites, but I'll also throw out an invitation here to anyone who would be interested in recording their own voice clips. I can provide a list of characters needing voices, if there's enough interest.
