It has been for almost three weeks now and I haven't really had much time to work on this project. However yesterday I made progress.

Fishhead with the twodent can now kill hooghaar and hooghaar can still kill fishhead. He even can kill the wiggling fishhead.

Also new is the pause button, just press P for pausing the game.

Sounds are in the works too, press S once to enable them. However it's a little buggy at the moment, well in my version of chrome that is.

PS: I heard Internet Explorer 9 is out and I am curious how good my will work on it. So are there any testers out there willing to supply me some information about this demo and IE 9?

Nice job so far - runs smoothly on my Netbook (in Opera). The only issue is that up/down scroll the webpage as well as operating the lever.

I've been meaning to have a proper go at making canvas games since reading your articles. I did previously get as far as having a rotating spaceship with asteroids-style movement, but that was it.

Since then, I've designed a few websites and learned a lot of javascript in the process (and esp. javascript+xml), so I should find it a bit easier.
Might try a simple Roguelike or something - probably more suitable.

Anyway, good work - keep it up

Thanks, I should learn to interface xml as well. I really could use xml for storing tilemaps, but arrays work great at the moment.
