Getting used to Blender after years of 3DS Max. Totally unintuitive but it's free and opensource is the shizznit. One drawback is not being able to add/subtract divs from a shape after creating it (or I just haven't looked hard enough).

So, added "3D" stuff, shield powerup, rotating obstacles, shields, particle effects and lasers. And before you say anything, yes object count is below 256 (even below 200 usually) so I can safely say the game is legit for the comp (for now! )

Also added the alien tech object, collecting these speeds up the tech progress bar so as to reach the end of the game faster. Yet to add background animations showing the construction of the super-frakking beam'o'tron but I'll probably leave that til last.


Planned features:

- Gradual speedup

- Obstacle dodging stages between shooting

- More powerups

- Better HUD?

- other stuff.
