The game might be at the state I could simply put it up for download right now, but I'd like to get some input from a betatester on bugs/balances/compatibility issues before I release it; I want to make sure Gridquest runs on computers besides my laptop. If anyone wants to lend a hand, whether be it to play through the entire game, or just to boot it up and see if sounds play, it would be much appreciated, and all you need do is post here or PM me!

Heres an interesting reason why betatesters can be necessary: I tried running Gridquest on one of my older computers that I dug up, only to find its FPS plummet when I tried spelunking through one of the cave levels. After digging through my code, I discovered that the loop that determines your line of sight and blacks out the rest in underground sequences was actually running every single frame, instead of just right after refreshing the tiles from your last movement, like it should. I hadn't noticed it because my own laptop ran so fast the FPS never even dropped despite those extra like 600 loops per frame.
