The first public beta is now available for download. There are still a lot of rough edges on this thing, and I'd like to hear your suggestions on how to improve it.
Known issues:
There's an invisible wall on manic.lvl, the tilesets aren't working correctly yet, only five or so script functions are available at the moment, the game lags on some computers.
Planned features:
Backtrackable levels that allow for nonlinear level design.
Points, collectibles and a point combo system to add a skill element to it.
More powerful scripts that can move the player, modify variables and so on.
More traps, obstacles, statistics, improved movement, etc.
