That is a great compliment! Yes, it is - everything you see on the Nightlife screenshot has been created with the standard Backdrop tools (both obstacle and non-obstacle) and Active objects. The textures on these objects were created either from digital photographs of real-life textures or hand-drawn Photoshop designs.
I would love to make the game look even cooler by using Alpha channels to create some impressive explosions, but i do not know how to do this. Suggestions and help on this would be greatly appreciated!!
Cheers Aptennap, i'll put more up over the next few weeks, as well as video. I am also looking to add some Alpha Channel explosion effects. The only problem is, i haven't got a clue how to do it!!
