since theres more than 1 betatester, it might be nicer if you guys leave it here instead of PM'ing me, so you can see if you hit upon the same issues. And don't feel bad if you got no time, since theres really no bugs I think, just balance. Mostly looking at if the game is either too easy or too hard.

Only thing I've bumped in to as of yet is (and I don't remember if it was this way on the original) that enemies could spawn inside block puzzles prohibiting you from moving certain blocks, like in westfield, I couldn't reach any of the two chests cause monsters were blocking the blocks ! Though if you exit and reenter they're probably somewhere else. Nothing else yet!

I'm not sure that starting the game in fullscreen is the best way. It lags quite badly if you don't play it on a decent computer in fullscreen. Do you think it should start windowed? Then if they want it fullscreen they can make it fullscreen?

I think the experience required to obtain the first level up is much to high, I think it could be cut down significantly. As a player I would much rather experience the satisfaction of obtaining a level up much sooner.

O yeah EE I should maybe do something about that, I have a system in place to make certain areas unspawnable for monsters, and I guess that can be a pain. I'm going to look into the whole resizing-in-mmf2 issue, I've noticed that people have problems with MMF2 games resizing, but nobody has problems with TGF games. Don't know why.

Another thought I had was to visually represent experience? Sometimes it is not always easy to tell how much experience is actually required till the next level, I think a graphic way to see your experience could help the player to feel a greater sense of satisfaction in gaining experience as they see the bar move closer to the end. Just a thought.

well thats more of a UI limitation I can't work around too easily. Theres no room to put an EXP bar on the bottom of the UI, where the spells & hp/mana counters are, and that means the only place with room is right inbetween the "Silvers" text and the equipped inventory. And that leads to there being a rather out of place bar there, but maybe I'll mesh it up and see how it looks. Thanks!

I'm kind of curious how far the two of you got? Like where are you in the game currently, what levels or gear, and did you decide to use keyboard or mouse

I've just finished my final exam so I'll have more time to play it now. But so far I've mainly been using the mouse.

I too have exams this week, gonna play it for real this weekend or so. BTW, I experienced noticable slowdown in fullscreen too!

I suggest you have an option or so to change the res to 640x480 and resizing the display 2x. That should eliminate all slowdown!

I wish I had some time on my hands to do gfx, cause I would really like to contribute some new gfx to this wonderful game! If any of us were interested in doing gfx, would you like that? Or would you feel that the game was violated?

BTW 2, Go get yourself some motivation and continue working on the legendarium!

Let's convince him to do it anyway!
In what state is the current legendarium Pixel? Can it be finished if you got help or something?
