I'm just curious about the association between Lemmings and Warhammer, and also the name, Vollo Arena. Does this mean we can expect an arena-based battle-field/play-area where the player does not have individual control of their characters, but controls a team or army through an interface like Lemmings, selecting weapons or their objectives/actions, while their AI plays out those actions?

Hehe, well it did't have to be those games.
The game plays like this:
Team Setup - First you get a number of points (10p-20p) and from these you have to build a band or really small army of units. Choose from 5 different units, each with unique powers.
Worker: Only unit that can carry items, such as Keys & crystals. And repair structures and mashines.
Not strong in battle, and weak in defense.
Warrior: Deals the most damage, and takes the most beating, but not much more.
Healer: Can heal and revive units, can't fight at all.
Elemental: One of three elementals, fire, ice and thunder, can buff friends and hurt foes.
Ninja: Can cloak, use ranged attacks. Not as strong as warrior in battle, but faster.
Then you pick a level, 3 worlds, with 5 levels and a boss each (that is the plan at least).
Gameplay - Move the units around and fight monsters in RTS-battles. Clear objectives to gain more points for later missions.

It's just the first thing that came to mind when I read the project page, and from what you've described in your post, sounds like what I thought it would be
