I was thinking under either divx or wmv to keep the quality high but the size low. Suggestions?

Yeah, DivX avi format would be good.. otherwise mpg or avi - it doesn't really matter as long as the filesize isn't enormous.

I haven't really looked into it, but I assume you could upload it to veoh tv. The quality would be pretty good, and you wouldn't have to download a big file (just the installer for the program). I don't how many people use it, but I use it for anime.
But uploading a file is no problem for me or for most people with decent downloading speed.

mp4 would be the best format, as it is the iTunes 'podcast' format. (:
However, offering both divx and mp4 would be good. If you put up a divx video, I'll have it converted to mp4 for the iTunes podcast.
Last time I was on this site it said I was "16."

The best format would probably be
Matroska video encoded with H.264 and Vorbis audio.
So use that Rikus.

MP4 like other video podcasts! They use the H.264 codec which is the best quality/size codec around

You can upload DivX format to Stage6
As far as I know, it's free.

I was going to say quicktime, as I find it works quite nicely embedded into a webpage. But, as long as you don't use youtube, as it doesn't seem to work for me

So it looks the answer is to use an MP4 - H264 + MP3 or AAC combo!

I use WMV's as you can get the quality high, without a large file and also means you dont have to download drivers (encase you dont have Divx etc)

If you're using H.264, just make sure you don't make the resolution too big; I know there are klikers out there with older systems.
