This is Mr. Business, a game based on classic platformers. The storyline goes as follows:

"You are a business man who recently bought some shares and one day you find out they have sky-rocketed. Shocked that you find out they have been stolen by a gorilla in a business-suit you go after him and his minions in a quest for money and glory.... mostly money."

This is a 1-world demo. I am still not sure if I will make the rest of the game yet. A good thing to know about it is that it hasn't been properly beta-tested yet, so high difficulty level can occur for some.
Have fun with this!

(I feel bad for the guy who hired the architect to design the office building you're in.

I just fixed a bug with the boss, if you've downloaded it and experienced troubles.

Hey this is cool! If this was on the GB years ago, I would of bought it. Has this been made with MMF? And are those ripped graphics?

Are you saying I ripped the graphics?! I would never do that! And yes, it's MMF.

There seems like there's problems to exit the game with Alt+F4 for some (MasterM). I have no idea why.

Posted by MasterM 2nd November, 2002

so you didn't use the "block Alt+F4 plug-in"? I thought so. At the moment i am not able to play it. Everytime I try it freezes and I have to reboote my pc :-(

lol. to block Alt+F4 just go to the menu editor for your game and in close remove Alt+F4 to close it. it works for me atleast.

Sadly it gave me a "cannot find dmx2.cox" error, or something like that. And I REALLY wanted to play this... looks by far the most original platformer for this 4-bit thing.

Posted by Steve Wardale 2nd November, 2002

Sorry, dmc2.cox.

Posted by The Chris Street 2nd November, 2002

if it says cannot find dmx2.cox is because the file bass.dll need to be in the Mr Business directory.

you can make it green or blue, go to the options menu... good job, I can't believe that some of you assume that the GFX/Music are ripped, some people actually have talent and put effort into things you know, XD... i dont know why, but this ticks me off

nice, it defitley has the smootheness of a gb game. You also did stuff that most gb games do, like the way of dying and the fading
