Developer Notepad (MINI) is a very small program, which was made over the period of just less than a day, to help you with note taking and simple (usually rather small) websites or coding abilities. It features a library of 91 small and large scripts for HTML, Javascript, PHP etc. You may have to sort through them yourselves though because i imported them from what was going to be Developer Notepad 2 which would've been a more advanced version of Developer Notepad if any of you remember back to that.

Anyway, it features a simple compact design with a note taking area, a library with over 90 scripts including a HTML template and finally a selection of options including "Save and loading" (wow!) aswell as syntax colouring, preview in your default browser and a couple more.

Obviously this is very basic stuff, but it has come in pretty handy for me and i hope it helps some of you. Just so you know, Developer Notepad 2 was abandoned and i finally got off my lazy ass and actually used part of my previous coding and took the experience of starting DN2 and made a small, clean program simply for taking notes and handling small tasks.

A summary of the features:
>Clean, simple interface (based on Windows Media Player)
>Syntax colouring
>Library of 90+ scripts

Hope you like it.

This is pretty neat

This really is going to be my new tool from now on when creating a web site. It even has Vitalize code!

Great job. Although this still has a way to go before beating those other click website editors.

This is odd. A lot of stuff doesn't seem to work.
The 'preview', 'help' and 'about' seem to link to an invalid path.
Also, I can't change the font. It does show a font dialog, but the font doesn't change after I click OK.
Then the colorize function. It doesn't colorize?
And lastly, what does that ADD button do? To make your own templates (even though the second edit box is read only)?
Oh and too bad the window can't be moved.
And where the hell are the minimize/exit buttons?! You can't seriously only depend on ALT+F4 and no minimizing!

Thanks Reed.

ok Josh, thanks and hopefully i'll be able to answer most of your queries.

1) Sorry, unless you deleted the files folder it should all work.
2) After pressing "OK" on the font dialog start typing, it doesn't change text that was already there, my mistake.
3) Clicking add, adds the text into the notes box, the read only box is there to show you the code before you add it to your initial notes.
4) Double click the window and you can move it about.
5) Whoops.

I'll add this to the help file, thanks for asking everything.
