MUNCHIE MOVES 1.2

Version 1.2 brings a total re-design of the game. New title screen, logo, playmode selector, improvement of some of the in-game graphics and even new icons. New playmode: Piggy terror.

Banana Munch is a puzzle in which you have to guide Munchie the monkey so he can eat all the bananas in the jungle. To do so, visit all the squares of 10 by 10 board. You must follow a certain movement pattern. You can jump over two squares in a straight line or over one square diagonaly. And you can visit each square once and only once. Legal moves are marked by a green square, illegal moves are marked by a red one. It is possible to visit all the fields, but not all starting positions may grant that.

Monkey Hop is a puzzle based on peg solitare. Miss Munchita has a hard time deciding which of the 36 male monkeys of her tribe should she mate with. And so, males have to fight for her! On a grid of 37 squares there are 36 monkeys. Only possible move is to make one monkey to hop over another to an empty square. The monkey that jumped stays on the board, while the one that was jumped over is removed. The goal is to remove 35 monkeys leaving only one on the board. That will resolve Miss Munchita's dilemma!

Piggy Terror is a turn-based survival horror puzzle . Munchie wasn't paying attention and walked right into the hunting grounds of the dreaded carnivorous Pink Guinea Pig Tribe. They aren't very smart. They will run blindly towards Munchie - sometimes crushing into each other or stumbling over their unconscious fellows. Click on arrows to move, click on Munchie to stand. Scream to scare off the closest pigs or run away in panic to a random location. You can also make a last stand and let the Pigs close in. Save Munchie!

This is my first finished and polished game ever, even though I'm clicking since Klik n' Play was released. Big thanks to all of The Daily Click community - you've
encouraged me to take back on clicking just by beeing there. Special thanks goes to Phizzy - for all of his smart-ass talk wich made me feel I HAD TO learn some more advanced
tehniques (like fastloops

). Also big thanks to Circy, whose decision not to close the GOTW poll made me upload a new version of the game with no delays.

There used to be a development-time cheat. Pressing 'z' on the keboard tweaked your score to 100 so you could watch the end animation. I removed it, of course, because I'm evil

I'm thinking of maikng a sequel to this with some more game modes - a quest mode, where you would have to eat all bananas from custom locations with obstacles and a survival mode where you would jump across stones... Hard to explain now, really.

But I'm going to do something completly different first.

can't say its that fun, so i won't but ots a clever idea and the graphics are quite nice, the gameplay reminds me of chinese checkers, having to think to get every one right

This game is pretty good, make a sequal to it with more stuff to do.
Like a puzzle mode where you have to clear certain levels in a set number of moves or something.

Allright - 1.1 version is here. Some new graphics and animations were added. And of course - a new play mode.

I have an idea for another one. I'll try to klik it within a week.

In the meantime - please re-download the game. I think it's better then it was. Oh, and let e know if you find any bugs.

Well... looks like Munchie won GOTW after all. This means an update with a new play mode soon. Also - I've came up with a idea how to implement a Snakes on a Plane mode

But I'm saving it for later. First - something in the mood of survival horor game. You'll see

I just got an email from an editor of one of Germany's bigger gaming magazine and it seems they want to publish munchie on their cover DVD. I'll guess they have plenty of space to fill

Nonetheless it seems like Munchie's getting somewhere.

On other news - I've completly re-designed the user interface and polished some graphics. It looks quite good now, in my opinion. But that's something you won't see until version 1.2 is released

The new version is definitely great. I love the 3rd game mode. If you keep adding one or two modes (when you come up with a new ideas once again), this is actually becoming a very nice collection of mini puzzle games. As I said earlier, this is very polished, nicely implemented game. Well done.
