This is a perfect 360 degree race car engine, although it does not include collision detection. This game includes a huge tutorial of how it all works. It uses the Cosine and Sine functions which are explained to with much detail.
This should hopefully get you fully comfortable with using the sine and cosine functions, which can be used in many games, and already are. Do take the time and patience to read and try it as if you are relatively new to the stuff it can be quite hefty.

pretty good, nice tutorial.

oh, now add skidding, brakes, collision detectors, and custom damage sistem (where the car get's damaged only on the spot you hit it with)

hehe that would be awesome

There's a race car engine that can do all of that anyway. But nice to see yet another example.

Great tutorial! I know it could be simply modified to work as a 360 degrees shoting engine. How do you make Angle Value to make it point in the direction of the X and Y mouse?
