Game of the Week Winner

In this game your only objective is to get as many points as possible. Points are given for collecting valuable items.

Controls:
left/right - move
up/down (on ladder) - climb up/down
down (on spring) - don't jump high
shift - jump
shift or up (when hanging on wall's edge) - jump
down (when hanging on wall's edge) - fall down
S - toggle sound
P - pause
F2 - new game
F3 - change controls ("Button 2" stands for jump button)
F4 - toggle fullscreen

There are totally 1413 located in one big level.

I must warn you that changing to fullscreen will change into 320x240 mode... do it on your own risk or change resolution manually to more friendly one!

Nice job, I like simple little games like this. I just don't like how much you have to guess where you are going because the screen doesn't move often.

I can't download it--is there some trick?

No... you click the download button.

Quite a nice game, I didn't like the dying from falls. While that is a realistic feature most games don't incorporate it or they have a much higher fall distance allowed. I only died from falling!

Nice LITTLE game though

"Firefox can't find the server at pakiet.i365.pl."
Well, that's what I get.

Then.... you're not supposed to download it?

Oh wait, it worked, now that you were so helpful. Wee!

You're really helpful there, Billybobjoe. It just means that he wasn't able to connect to that server from where he is.

It would be good to play that at school, teachers wouldn't be able to see it, but it is a bit hard on the eyes and the gameplay feels... messy.

Oh, thanks DaVince...bummer.

Thanks for comments!

It may be quite annoying to go and have no knowledge "where?" . I'll avoid making mistakes like this in next games (also mini, but not that mini as this).

the screen's way to small and you cant tell if youre going to fall or not because it doesnt scroll very good

Posted by BROO 18th December, 2007

When you're about to fall to screen down without knowing what's there, you have 99,9% that you'll lose life... that's why there are everywhere arrows, lifts, ladders to use them. Jumping and hoping that there's a land is not a good idea at all .

The gameplay felt pretty good, but the fact that the resolution was more than tiny ruined it for me. It was even difficult to see for me in a 640x480 resolution!

Next time add resize options please. (Though I guess there's fullscreen mode, but it still looks small in there.)

The fullscreen mode should be redone by using the SuperScale object by LIJI (it will set the graphics bigger with a nice without being ugly).

This game as it will be a very good online java game.

falling like two feet wouldnt hurt a real person!

Posted by AndyUK 30th December, 2007

i think making the falling damage distance a little larger would have helped a bit because you get hurt when you don't expect to.
Also you get hurt even when you're flashing.

I think a key to a good game is to start off easy, i found this game really hard i really didn't know where to go or what i was doing! i found the game engine quite good though and the movement and animation on the player was quite solid!
