Space Warz is a retro remake with a difrence. It copys no direct retro game but is influenced by lots of games ive played in the past the game slowly gets harder you can buy weapons with inpower more damage from a lazer machine gun to a fast firing flame thrower like plasma cannon.

Their is an animated starting and full writen instructions to get you in the game quickly with a small amount of info about the game so you can get in quickly and start killing things

um. graphics aren't too great, and the gameplay is a bit hard right off. also, i see this is a project? maybe release a demo after its farther along? other than that its a good start.

I liked it more then i expected! But i think the oposite of cec?l. It was too easy. You just wait in one corner of the screen until there is a wave of enemies. Then you fly across the screen shooting like a maniac, and poof! everything died.

I guess you spent some time on the graphics, but you haven't got the experience. It looks a little to flat.

I give this four stars, because you can see that you've tried hard. Keep up the good work.

well yes its easy if you just go across shooting like a maniac. but that defeats the purpose. one of my all time favorite shooters is gunroar, which is actually a boat shooter not a space shooter. but the gameplay is well balanced so it isnt either flat out hard or just too easy. plus, if you actually try and play the right way here, you get a bagillion homing missiles that just follow you around. its just a bitch. i'm just saying the gameplay needs a lot of polishing. the graphics do too but they arent as important. four stars is an above average rating, and this, it is not. sorry. good but needs work. 3 stars.

hmm...i've seen a game exactly like this about a year ago, would that be possible? It's nice, except for the lack of sounds and music, and the earlier named things.

EDIT: After a certain time, loads of ships spawn, reaching the TGF object max, which disallows me to shoot sometimes, and maybe causes planets to not show up anymore. Is that intended?

It was pretty fun, but like Sherrif said, hold ctrl and just go side to side.

It would be a lot better with some sounds, music and a boss or two.

zigzag lol name one retro game with no boss's and constant fighing

the idea was no boss's and it is really just a side project which when ever i get bored of working on the 10th army i work on

and i was high the whole time making it and onward so... yeah...

also when you "played something like this" chaoz i released this last year then decided to remove it and work on it more because it had only 4 buyables and a lack of enemy's.
