This is a simple platformer. Hickory can run. Hickory can jump.

Unfortunately, Hickory can also get squished by the many moving platforms, the pointy screws that are lying around, the switch blocks and the other inhabitants of the clock: the toy soldiers and the fine cuckoo.

Fortunately, however, it all works like clockwork, and there are various switches around that can change the direction the clock moves or move certain blocks away. Some jumps need to be timed with one eye on where the second hand lies.

This game was initially made for a 48 hour competition held by Warwick Game Design - http://www.warwickgamedesign.co.uk . We came first with some rather tasty feedback (see below). I've since tidied it up a little and added two more levels to play.

Art and two levels (Nos. 2 and 4) are by Adam from Crobasoft. Johan also did the music.

There is a possibility that you could get stuck in a moving platform (especially in the two new levels) but I have hopefully removed most occurrences in the code. Unless it's really game breaking there's nothing much I'd like to change.

Oh well...
I didn't like it that much. The graphics were great, and the gameplay was smooth and all, but it becomes quite repetitive. And I didn't like the music by myself very much. :/

But yeah, great game, just my piece of cake.<

Aww, shucks, you don't mean that do you?

And yes, I apologize for making it difficult, but then again, at least this way you don't have to make your way through lots of really easy levels to get to the real challenge... right? Plus you don't have to unlock anything! Bonus!

If you can beat 87secs on the first level though, you deserve a cookie

I like the mouse but the game's pretty slow paced and the alternate platforms seem just slow enough it's impossible to predict. This also is kind of annoying when you fall and have to redo 30 seconds of the level again.

I'm going to be dead honest, i don't understand why this game is getting such wicked reviews. I honestly think the game engine is 5 star and the main charctor "the little mouse" is 5 star, but i found the game levels very dull and i wasn't really into the theme of the game

I can see alot of heart and professionalism has gone into the makeing of this game so i have to vote this game of the week purely because this is one of the best game engines i've seen!!

I like this game, even though I'm not very good at it. Good work on the gfx and animations, love the mouse especially. Music is pretty cool. Must be hard to make a game in only 72 hours!

I like it but I can't beat the first level. A bit after the first bird there is a gap with two bridges, and only one is on at a time. Am I missing a double jump or something?
