This is my entry for the mini game compo.

WARNING! If you love cats to pieces you should not play this game. And don't give me a bad rating simply because you love cats. You'd need better, fairer reasons to do so.

Have there been days when you wish you could just get back at your cat? When he mistook the couch as a scrathing post? When he knocked over a vase because he was curious and clumsy? When he scratched your hand just because it was there in his reach? Or do you just plain HATE cats? I do, but that's not why I made this. Cat's are just the perfect subject for these kind of things.

There are 19 horrid ways of inflicting pain upon the kitty.

Besides the factory surroundings, there are 6 weapons to mutilate the kitty with. Hit the kitty in different areas to watch him die different deaths.

It just might bring up a few laughs, and... maybe your lunch too.

You can change his facial expressions, eyes, and mouth using the keys T,Y(expression) U,I (eyes) O,P (mouth).

No live kitties were harmed in the making of this game.

i've 'played' similar things to this - it's not really a game as such. You just check-out the various, preset animations... and thats about it.

You must have put some effort into the different scenes, so I guess thats worth a couple of stars but I couldnt really gain any "fun" factor from it (and I hate cats! lol)

Thanks, guys! Sorry Markno2, I just do NOT like cats tbh.

I'm more of a dog person.

And I kno it's not much of a game, Steve. I just thought up something the day before the compo and I just found the opportunity to use what I was working on for the compo. So that was my entry. And yes, it took quite a while to do all those. Lol

Lolol thanks.

I got really bored of the gore animations, I was kinda in a rush, and pixel art isn't really my thing, so I agree, they don't look their best and could have been way better.

The graphics really didn't help me to feel satisfied at killing the "cat" if that's what it is. Not really much of a game, either. The star is for the sound effects and the way it's eyes manage to follow the mouse, even if it's eyes action points are off-center.

The action points weren't meant to have on-the-mark rotations. It just adds comic to have them turn around in a demented, strange way.

It's too bad it didn't satisfy your cat killing needs. (I know you hate em as much as I do, but the only way to actually satisfy that gruesome desire is to toss a cat in a wood chipper.

)

I don't have anything good to make sounds with either. But really, how many people do? Rating it one star because of just sound nullifies the worth of the game in your perspective I take it.

I know it's not much of a game. I said it in the comments. And yes, it's a cat if you forgot the title. ><

Very amusing - loved the variety and the many ways in which to kill the kitty! The graphics were great (very raw and funny which fitted the game better than smoother, Photoshop graphics) and the sound effects were funny. Loved booting the cat into the meat grinder!!

And smashing its brains in with the hammer!

And smacking it in the goolies!

And putting bullet holes all over its body!

And knocking it into the circular saw..... i could go on! Not much of a game, as such, but worthy of a punt never-the-less.

I guess I'm a cat person, but that doesn't make me offended by people who project their (perfectly reasonable, I'm sure) hatred in perverted little minigames! In fact I've casually enjoyed quite a few of these, with a great variety of victims. However, they kind of fly or fall on the graphics and creativity and to be frank I don't see how anyone can enjoy this unless they also enjoy masturbating with cat intestines. I wouldn't be surprised if I spent more time writing this comment than you did coming up with and making that game...

It might've been a solid 2.25 on Newgrounds, but on this site I needed to muster up all my compassion to give it a one and not a zero.

If it took more time to write the comment then you'd be wasting 5 days and a bit more to make a game. Dude, It's a mini game. It takes a few days to make. ANd when you're limited on time the whole concept is pretty much make a fun little game and hurry. And really, why don't YOU make a mini game equal to mine in the same time. Five days. Just goes to show Making a game isn't like straightening out your bed. However, it's not like hand crafting a Commercial Jet either.

And Newgrounds doesn't accept Click made games.

There's a reason that games like this never do too well, and I hope you realize why.
There is nothing original, funny, or clever about mutilating a cat to what would be considered gore if the graphics were decent.
You simply cannot make a game based on killing an animal. Now games like Kitty Cannon are generally acceptable because they show signs of originality, don't go too far with blood, and the goal is to keep it alive!

All in all, I was unimpressed with your sadistic game.
