BIG UPDATE: I've significantly altered the gameplay to make it more skill-based and less luck-based. Please re-download!

Dodgeball is a game in which you must simply dodge the balls that are bouncing all over the screen. It gets more difficult as time goes on. I originally created this game in 2005 for the V-cade but I've recently gone back and revamped it.

Online Scoring
This game has online high scores! Try to get to the top!

Default Controls
Jump - Space Bar (this can be changed by going to Controls in the file menu or pressing Ctrl+Y)
Run - Left and Right arrow keys

How to Play

* You simply must run around and survive for as long as possible.

* Stay alive a long time! Each second counts for 100 points. Also, for every sphere that appears on the screen, you get 250 points.

* If you almost get hit by a sphere, it'll give you a "close call." These are worth 750 points each.

* If you have to lose, try do do it when there are a lot of spheres on the screen. For each sphere on screen when you die, you get 100 points.

TIPS:
Because this is a very fast-paced game (meaning the game will be over fairly quickly) there are keyboard shortcuts so that you never have to actually click buttons with the mouse. Hit Space (Button 1) at the title screen to start a new game. Hit F2 at any time to go back to the title screen (for example, if you did poorly and don't want to wait for the score tally to complete). Also, press Enter at the score submission screen to submit your score!

Twice I was hit in the head by the first ball, surviving a mere 3 seconds

Fun little game, it would be great Vitalized for the Click Arcade in the future.

Simple but very addictive minigame. Though using the mouse to start a new game is a tad too slow since one round is over so quickly. I would like to have some retry key to start a new game instantly. Other than that, great game!
