After watching a video about how hot air balloons navigate, I thought it would be fun to make a game out of it. The player can only move up and down. To move side to side, the player must enter an air stream that is going where they want to go.

The goal of the game is to safely navigate your hot air balloon to the landing site of each level to the east. You are penalized if your balloon is damaged, or late.

Try to get a perfect score of 100.

I did.

Once.

If you complete all five levels, you will unlock an extra mode.

Interesting game this one. It has great rising mechanics and I like that the speed of the west and east pointed arrows changes at random. I got to level 4 with some lateness penalties and some lost lives. The spaceships teleporting you further back when they hit you is a clever idea. The only thing that messed me up good was running out of fuel near the end of level 4. I managed to cross the last(?) angry cloud shooting lightning yet I couldn't keep on going after that

Game beat, with the score 75. I won't show the extra mode because I'm afraid someone might see it, try pressing it in-game if it's permanently enabled and not even try to beat the game, so just have this level 5 screenshot for proof. I was very worried about the tornado in level 5, I was very low on fuel and was about to crash but fortunately I had reached the end already, so it's all good. With trial and error, and getting used to things such as being slowly descended, you can beat this game. I did notice the angry cloud not insta killing me sometimes, maybe it depends on where you're at? If you're at the bottom it just takes one health away, but if you're somewhere a little closer you'll get eliminated for good. Anyway, great short game. I love how classic the graphics look. If I don't become lazy, I might write a review, but I won't make any promises!

Ambrion, I think you got insta-killed by the cloud because you were near simultaneously taking damage from the top air layer and the lightning, causing two points of damage. If you had two hearts, that would kill you in one shot. At least, I think that's what happened.
