never really thought of that Hagar. if theyre ill then yea it should be free just like everyone else. but at least give them a scare or 2 in hospital
"It may not be the brightest thing in the world, but if someone's doing something that's not hurting you, keep the fuck out of their business."
dont you get second hand smoke where you live Radix?
another thing is i can understand why people would take drugs because they change your world, like if your depressed or whatever. but smoking? with no mind altering side effects? seems so pointless
Of course smoking has mind-altering effects, it's just not as much as other drugs. Why do you think people would even start if it didn't do anything for them?
Smoking is bad, mmm'kay. I don't, and I don't appreciate when other people do around me, but so long as people have a little consideration then it really is their choice. Many people start when they're too young to really understand the consequences (or care about them) and then the find it impossible to quit. However, to anyone trying to quit 7.99 sounds like reasonable value for your health.
Why the hell am I on the computer at 1 in the morning? No, don't answer.
You didn't even know who she was so shut your mouth. I'm not calling her a stupid bitch just because of that, but she was horrible to me and cheated on me twice but I still forgave her, and dumps me when I spark a fag up in front of her and gets her sister to slap me.

i personally hate smoking itself, not smokers. if someone blows their shit in or near my face it really does piss me off, but if someone tells me that they smoke, it doesn't prejudice me against them too much. makes for pleanty of hilarious jokes about how they're going to die from cancer at any rate. i'm all for banning smoking in public places, espescially in bars and pubs and the like, like they've done in Ireland, because i'd like to go outside without inhaling a load of shite and subsequently dying because of the actions of someone else.
Why should you care what others do anyway? If somebody smokes why do you make a big deal out of it, concentrate on your own health instead of calling smokers fucking idiots, well you my friend are the fucking idiot so why don't you take care of your own life, while others take care of their own lives.

broomie, you're missing the point: passive smoking effects the health of non-smokers. we have every right to bitch if our health is being affected. "you can smoke by all means, i don't care, just so long as you don't do it near me" is the general mentality.
My dad used to smoke, and he gave up on pure will power. Ate mints all the time to keep something in his mouth, and went swimming a lot, since it's remarkably hard to smoke whilst swimming. Was in a foul mood for about two weeks but then it was all over.
It's all about choice, every smoker out there at some point chose to start smoking, I don't hate them, but I hate the smoke they create especially in crowded places.
