I'm using TGF, and I was wondering how to stop an object from shooting in a certain direction, or stopping the player from being able to aim in that direction.
Just pick a time or w/e for example. Every second active object1 shoot acitve object2 and select a direction. All you have to do is not select the directions you dont want it to go to and select where you do want it to go to. You can also select it to shoot in the direction of an object.
I know that, it's just I have it set to eight directions so the player can aim diagonally. The only problem is he can aim up and down too, which I don't want.
I don't think you understand... the character that shoots the object is set to have animations for eight directions, but I don't want it to shoot up or down.
If you want them to shoot all at same time make every second shoot this direction the make another action selecting another. Just make each action one direction.
(Assuming default movement):
Fire2 (or whatever button to shoot) is pressed + Player isn't facing up + Player isn't facing down: shoot bullet in direction of player.
