It arrived yesterday, and I havent put it down since.
Im using to create my new superhero/comedy comic. The comic will be a non-web comic (ie. paperback) but Ill try to keep my cyper-friends satisfied aswell. The comic will probably also play a major part in my HSC art for school.
The first issue is approx. 10 pages (ive already drawn them, and scripted the story).
All Ive got at the moment to show for is this promotional poster. I'll keep the story and details to myself for now, unless there is mindblowing the poplular interest.
I'll try and have the first issue completed over the weekend. And will start a new topic for it when its up.
I've also made this little birthday card image for a friend of mine. It mighten have much relevence to most of you (its a drawing of the girl smashing a representative of the local comercial radio station with a guitar) but hopefully you lot can appreciate the artistic side to it:
Anyone who listens to triplej might find it funny. I know I do.
I use mspaint and a neat little program names graphics gale for all my scanning needs.
Any comments would be cool,

'oh yeah? he's thrown a kettle over a pub, what have you done?'
Jonny, Ive been drawing since always, but so far Ive only ever uploaded pixel art because of the my non-owning a scanner situation.
My colouring skills have devolopped through pixel art, so im grateful for that, however now that i do own a scanner Im likely to continue my hand drawn stuff.
Thanks for the interest,

Thanks Crystal. Don't worry though! I'll still keep pixelling, infact Blackhole will probably warrant some new pixel drawings based on him...perhaps even a Blackhole-the Game comic book tie in! haha.

Hey great idea! I might think about that when Ive completed the next episode. And ofcource if the comic is successful.
The co-writer and I are currently working on figurines of a few of the main characters. I think they would be better prizes than a copy of the comic, considering Im in discussions at the moment about making a Black Hole site (where you can read the episodes.
Here's another promotional picture:

I refuse to compromise my right as an artist to draw oversized genetalia- for anyone!
...
...
Besides its not a childrens comic...
Thats not to say it is an 'adult comic'-not by any means (ALTHOUGH IT WOULD EXPLAIN THE TESTICALS)-it's more of a superhero comedy for young adults.
I look forward to posting the link here, as soon as the first episode is up and accessable.
