Your rhythm is simple, but it works well with the style of music you're attempting to emulate. However, the song sounds really empty. You just can't make a tune with only a drum beat and a flute lead, you also need at least a bassline and background chords to add some texture to your song. Some additonal notes or instruments added to the lead instrument would make it sound more alive as well; even though it's not out of place, it's hollow-sounding and somehow unconvincing. Keep working on it, I'm sure you can do something great out of this tune. Swim with me into your blackest eyes. http://junkman.vze.com
