ANSWERS:
1.- I Share my keyboard with the other player
2.- One player uses a joystick/gamepad and the other the keyboard
3.- I have 2 joysticks/gamepads, one for each player
4.- 2 player simultaneous games on the same PC? That sucks! it's network play or nothing!
Also please specify how often do u play 2 player simultaneous games on the same PC:
Often -from everyday to once a week-
Once in a while -from once a month to 2/3 times a year-

1, Once in a while
I've gotta get me some joypads or something. Two players on the same keyboard really sucks balls. It's still fun if you've got games like Friendly Strike 2, though!

Only turn based games really work on one PC with one controller/keyboard. Stuff like Worms and Snooker.

I agree.
also i thought i would mention that 2 player with the same keyboard is no good with most types of keyboard because you can't press more than around three different keys at once.
So its a problem playing on say;
an isometric 2 player game and both players trying to move diagonally at the same time whilst firing a weapon. (six key presses at once)
and it would be hell with a fighting game like street fighter when you're both hammering away with a complex special move.
