I thought this was another 'I'm leaving the community' post when I read the title. Those things are so amusing .
Personally, I treat life as a game. No point in playing, but even less point to not playing. I could just quit right now, but that won't leave me with a good score.
So, right now, I've got a very promising game on the way, a nice girlfriend, very good grades in the toughest university in the country (if I was in any other uni, I'd be having a straight 4.00) and several very promising business ideas that could be the next 'geforce 2'. Life is fun.
I do feel sorry for those who study hard when they're young, just to get into college, just to study hard to get a first class degree, just to work hard to earn lots of money, marry the next pretty bitch who ends up being a fat whiny uber-bitch, raise a few rebellious kids who put them in a foster home, and then go around telling people to worship the 'right way'. Those are the people you should be asking...
Disclaimer: Any sarcasm in my posts will not be mentioned as that would ruin the purpose. It is assumed that the reader is intelligent enough to tell the difference between what is sarcasm and what is not.
Always look on the bright side of life.

Always look on the light side of life.

If life seems jolly rotten,
There's something you've forgotten,
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing.
When you're feeling in the dumps,
Don't be silly chumps.
Just purse your lips and whistle. That's the thing.
And...
Always look on the bright side of life.
*whistle*
Always look on the right side of life,
*whistle*
For life is quite absurd
And death's the final word.
You must always face the curtain with a bow.
Forget about your sin.
Give the audience a grin.
Enjoy it. It's your last chance, anyhow.
So,...
Always look on the bright side of death,
*whistle*
Just before you draw your terminal breath.
*whistle*
Life's a piece of shit,
When you look at it.
Life's a laugh and death's a joke. It's true.
You'll see it's all a show.
Keep 'em laughing as you go.
Just remember that the last laugh is on you.
And...
Always look on the bright side of life.
*whistle*
Always look on the right side of life.
*whistle*
Always look on the bright side of life!
*whistle*
Always look on the bright side of life!
*whistle*
Always look on the bright side of life!
*whistle*
Always look on the bright side of life!
*whistle*
Always look on the bright side of life!
*whistle*
Always look on the bright side of life!
*whistle*
Always look on the bright side of life!
*whistle*
Always look on the bright side of life!
*whistle*
The ultimate question was what's 7x8.
In truth I think the meaning of life is different for everyone. Of course, the meaning of my life is to destroy the Matrix.
Why the hell am I on the computer at 1 in the morning? No, don't answer.

"Did you know humans have the capacity to live forever"
Actually, Smeby's right on. The study of it's called anti-senescence (should be government funded, damn it). It's actually a number of factors that need to be corrected for eternal life, or at least extreme longevity, and none of them are really all that complicated. Death is a disease that will one day be cured.
Really, what to people die from? There's no such thing as death from old age. What happens is the various systems in your body gradually degenerate as the integrity of your DNA disintegrates through repeated division until one of your organs gives out. There are various mechanisms that prevent this over time, but as you age your body's ability to facilitate them decreases until it's requirements surpass it's production. It might one day be as simple as getting a periodic injection.
its possible. kids dont die of kidney failure *usually*, i suppose if cells did regenerate or whatever they do all our lives then we'd forever have the body of, say, an 18 year old (when the body stops growing).
may be possible.
back to the first post spidey head said
"Why do we do the same things over and over (family, work, love, school etc)"
specifically looking at love. love is bloody fantastic. its no chore. i think a reason a lot of people are unhappy is because they just wanna go out and have fun (aka. sleep around) which is something i dont agree with. people complain they're lonely then go and sleep with some random stranger, when really to feel happiest the best bet is to get off your ass and find someone who you'd be with for more than one night. and that'd help cut down on HIV/AIDs
and school was fun. i just messed around but i passed magically with 7 above C grades.
just enjoy life and find a girl and be happy. oh and drink Kava, that reduces stress if thats an issue for you.
people always say that if you were told you were gonna die, thatd you go out and do more yea? but if i could live forever or just a really long time hell id probably do more because theres more time!
i was thinking this a while ago, if i had a bunch of days totally free id go on a walk to scotland (and im manchester-ish based)... alas instead i stayed in and completed Halo 2
You'll still die if someone shoots you in the head. But that stuff about the DNA is true, cancer cells have that thing disabled which is why it's cancer in the first place.
