This week my game, Clouds Kingdom 2, has been up on the GOTW-poll as many of you might have noticed. The thing was it that I cheated to get some votes 'cause I wanted to win so bad. Now Clubsoft has deleted all the false votes to fair things out. He also gave me a warning.
That's why I just wanted to say I'm sorry for what I've done, and sorry to Phizzy. He's the one to win this GOTW, he's worth it.
I don't know if I can see myself entering any contest ever again.
I'm sure anyone else who watches the GOTW notice people cheating all the time. Like, a game with almost no votes suddenly gets twice as many votes as it has downloads in the space of a couple of hours, then only one or two more for the rest of the week. Good thing Clubx0r was here this time, but there's usually something dodgy every couple of weeks.
lore: Sparckman was head of a community, only it wasnt really him, it was his mate. so whenever something bad happened it was his mate, but something good was him. then he hacked individual members but obviously it was his mate. then it turned out there was about 5 people pretending to be 1 person even having online arguments. to this day we still dont know if it was 5 people or just 1 really mentally unstable individual.
I remember a GOTW where a game called Wacky Welder won. It was a pants game and one day it had a few votes, the next day it had about 500 more. It wasn't actually the creator that cheated though, it was some other member and the admins let the game still win anyway. I'm not bitter though, it's totally irrelevent two of my games were 2nd and 3rd in the GOTW that week, but it was established that there was cheating going on, but the game didn't get disqualified or the cheating votes removed. Seems like they're more strict these days though, which is good.
this happened with nearly all of the GOTWs. You ain't nuthin' special

I remember when Sparckman said he'd hack my computer over MSN once. I'm pretty sure it was him who hacked the old Scorpion E too, but he disappeared before I got to ask/insult.
Is Sparckman still alive, or has he left the web world all together?
Hey Noodle, just wondering, why would you bump a 2 year old topic to mention that completely irrelevant news? More importantly, why the hell did you look up such an old topic?!?
