i was thinking about going for the pro version. my gran gave me £150 for a little uni fund last year. i got the regular version for quite cheap thanks to a very low euro conversion one day... come to think of it ive got a fair bit of that money left.
I just ordered MMF 1.5 Standard yesterday. Not about to shell out an extra $200 tho. That's going to a CD player for my car. As for being lucky enough to have that kind of money... it's called having a job.
Meh, if I were lucky to get a lot of money for my birthday I'd think about it after buying an AMD Athlon64 3500+. But I don't know, I'll have to pay €223.97 for it, I don't know if it's worth it. MMF Standard would work fine I think, and that's only € 74.16. Hell I don't need money to live, not right now that is, I can spend it all!
I got MMF Standerd for $55 at Clickteam.com a few halloweens ago & it suits me perfectly. Thought it would be nice to have the pro extentions, nothing werth $200 more dollers in my oppinion.
Not really, Pro is for people who want to sell there games without the Clickteam logo, edit the exe, & have pro extentions. I know about 1 or 2 people who have MMF Pro, but I'm content with MMF Standerd, suits my needs. Besides, I'm working on Blitz3D with Karl, so getting MMF Pro would be kind of pointless.
I have Pro for two reasons. The first one being that if I can get this one game of mine done, I'll be able to sell it without all those logos and whatnot. The second being that it was the only version they had in stock when I ordered it...
I got pro just for the heck of it.
Had some extra cash back in July & I wanted to give a kilk product a try since they didn't suffer the limits of Game Maker (Let's just say that if you made ED in Game Maker it would be about 500 Mbs & even if you managed to download it would probably take days to load the game) & Since I might one day wanna sell a game I just went ahead & bought pro.
