Post your favourite musicals here.

I vote:

Singin' In The Rain
Cabaret
West Side Story

South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut gets a mention because it tackles the issue of censorship, and you should too. Why? Because I have sold my stocks in censorship companies for BIG $$$!!!

"Paint Your Wagon"

Lee Marvin, Clint Eastwood, what could be better? Expecially the scene where the entire town collapses from them digging under it to get the gold.

I know the Simpsons made fun of it, but thats one they got wrong.

Steve Zissou: Anne-Marie, do all the interns get Glocks?

Anne-Marie: No, they have to share one.

Cannibal the Musical, early film by Trey Parker of South Park fame. Some of the songs are beautiful.

The Avenue Q Soundtrack is hilarious, featuring songs such as "What Do You Do with a B.A. in English?", "If You Were Gay", and "The Internet is for Porn."

Scratch my previous post!
The greatest musical ever IMO is... Labyrinth! That is brilliant (david bowie is cool).

Labyrinth is cool, but it used to freak me out when I was young. I always liked the scene with Dave Bowie's balls though.

Also agree about 'South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut' it seems Trey Parker has a knack when making musicals. Plus, South Park has always been one of the most satirical yet extremely rational shows, if you look past all the adult humour.

Cannibals was so funny! I saw it on SBS one night...

"Lets build a snowman!" BANG!

But I'd have to say the musical episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer was just gripping... I wept.

Show me the power child,
I'd like to say,
That I'm down on my knees today,
Gives me the butterflies,
Gives me away,
'Til I'm up on my feet again,
I'm feeling outshined.

Phantom of the Opera
South Park: Bigger Longer and Uncut
Nightmare Before Christmas

But Jesus Christ Superstar is the best. Go Ted Neely!

Labrynth is a scary movie. It used to be scary because of the wierd critters... Now it's scary because of David Bowie's pants.

Best musical ever: Mary Poppins.

Last time I had lobster, it reminded me of biology class. Except in biology class the professor didn't make you eat the frog when you were finished.

Ben: He's wearing a cod piece if I remember correctly.

David Bowie is a hero. Labyrinth is like Dark Crystal done right.

Jerry Springer the Opera is on BBC2 on Saturday, I'm looking forward to it cos it's written by one of my favourite comedians Stuart Lee, and it's received thousands of pre-emptive complaints from sad Christian nutters with no sense of humour. Hahaha, these poor fools never realise, the more they complain, the more people are gonna want to see it. Dumbasses.

Dark Crystal was good (I haven't seen it since kindergarten), but labyrinth was much better. But it may just be I had different tastes in Kindergarten, I'll watch it again soon.

The only one I didn't hate once they started singing, West Side Story

As a boy, I wanted to be a train. I didn’t realize this was unusual—that other kids played with trains, not as them.
