So, these are some pictures i filled my old geocities webspace up with, randomness ensues.
Try right clicking on a link and choosing 'open in new window'
For any picture without a .txt extension you may need to open a page at www.geocities.com/alspics2001 before you can paste the link. (in the same window)
So use a different browser. Like the one that came with your computer. Y'know... the one that practically every site on the web is optomized to work with. I hate all the kids who think they're 1337 because they have some obscure browser, and then whine when it doesn't work right for them. </rant>
Kirby, no. Firefox isn't obscure, it's superior and almost everyone I know uses it (I don't associate with lame kiddies).
Phizzy, almost any browser is going to open those as txt files. When you host images as txt files for off-site linking in geo, you need to enclose them in an image tag.
@ circy: lol, thanks.
@ kirby: chill dude, its not firefox users fault, its mine for using geocities.
@ jonny smeby: the site suX0rz anyway. Besides that counter don't work, ive been there at least twice in the past four years or so. The old counter was quite high for such a n00bie website, about 200 or so after a few months, or was it my other website? ?)
a good remedy (i think) for the txt pictures is to download and open them by right clicking and choosing paint or something and save them as a proper picture file png or gif or something. I hope that sorts it out.
i just tried putting them in an image tag for this post, but they were all red x's so ive got rid of that.
