Has anyone seen the gameboy micro? Its tiny and looks similar to the ds in my opinion, i wonder what the graphics will be like? I wont be buying this console, i doubt the graphics will be special, so you'd just be buying it for its size!
Yes it is a prototype but its probably around what it will look like in the end. They said that it will be about the size of 3 dvd cases stacked up. Also some interview said that the final product will be even smaller than the prototype.
Theres nothing not to like about it yet though. It focuses alot on online play which is absolutely FREE unlike xbox live or any other console online service. And you gotta love the fact that it can download all NES, SNES, and N64 games on it. Best of all, one of the opening titles is going to be Smash Bros Online.
Anyway, don't judge it just yet. In the coming months they are going to show why it is so revolutionary. they never showed the controller yet for a reason.
Oh and for the GameBoy Micro, yea its just a smaller GBA pretty much. About the size of a cell phone. This time, even the screen is smaller. From what I've heard, reading in game text is still just fine. The backlighting is even better than the SP, but battery life is a little lower.
This curse is more cursedly curse-worthy than any curse that's ever cursed you!
Digital: Your opinion is wrong. The Revolution is a black rectangular thing. That's where the similarity ends. It looks more like an ultramodern DVD player than a PS2, which itself looked like old IBM hardware.
I'm not going to waste my money on a new gameboy/playstation/gamecub/ when a new, better one will just come out in a few months.
I'm saving money up for college, and I don't intend to blow it all on a cheap system that lasts a couple months.
No offense to anyone, of course.
I bought the original Gameboy, Gameboy Colour, and Advanced, and they were all the same thing with slightly better graphics. I'll stick to the classic games, and to my Atari.
Fine Garbage since 2003.
CURRENT PROJECT:
-Paying off a massive amount of debt in college loans.
-Working in television.
Wow, I didn't realise the PSP wasn't out in the UK yet. I've been playing Lumines on mine for a couple months now. It's an addictive game. When it comes out, I reccomend shelling out the cash for a huge memory card (mine is 512MB). It serves as a decent mp3 player, and the screen clarity is great for pictures and video clips.
As for the Gameboy Micro and Nintendo's "Revolution", I think I've already made my opinions quite clear in the PS3 vs. XBox360 thread.
