I remade the song "Ever Fallen In Love (With Someone)" by the Buzzcocks as an acousic guitar instrumental. Although it sounds pretty much like electric guitars in there, it's actually just distortion effects, echoes and reverb etc etc. It has 4 layers of guitar which I recorded all by myself (the chords, the cool riff, the bassline and the melody + solo) on me trusty Herald acoustic. Then I put them into Cool Edit and added the effects. It's my first go at making an MP3, so there are some mistakes, and sometimes odd bits are out of synch.

I forgot to mention - I used a percussion sound in NoteWorthy Composer to set the tempo, then played the music over it. If you listen really closely you can probably here the *tap tap* on the cymbal.

Thats pretty good, the lead melody sounds very good with the verb. One of the chords in the background seems to have a distortion effect on it that sounds a bit like youve got major fret buzz so you should probably lose that effect.
