When I cut and paste a section of coding from say, the first level to the Global events, I get an error report (illegal operation) when the application is run? At first I thought it was something to do with the 'bad' icons that sometimes appear at the top of the event list but the same thing happened after I had imported all the objects into the Global events before cutting and pasting the section(s) of code. Why is this?

Don't worry... I've sorted it. It seems that one piece of the code was screwing it up.

Speaking of global events anyway, could someone explain how they work? Rather then making an entirely new topic, I figured I'd just ask here in a post already started. Anyone? I havent gotten the idea down & from the sounds of them, if they are anything like global objects or values, this could be very useful if I was to find out. Thanks.

as you would probably have already imagined, global events basically means that that specific group of events applies to every frame in your app/game
