Right. It runs fine here. Nice and smooth. I have:

AMD Athlon 64 bits 3200+ s939
2048mb DDR RAM
Geforce 6600GT

that should be the most important hardware.

That's a good find JP, great game. a bit dark on my geforce (like it says on the page) and runs slow as hell at times, but it's amazing how they managed to fit so much into such a small exe.

I'm guessing it uses LZMA for compression (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LZMA) which is one of the best (but slowest) algos around

Edit: maybe not:

everything you see in .kkrieger is procedurally generated at the beginning, in the "loading" Phase. there are neither stored images nor stored geometry in the executable file, everything you see is generated procedurally (the one exception being the menu/HUD fonts, which are generated from standard Windows fonts). if you are interested in the details, refer to our technology section

So it's all clever mathematical stuff.

It ran at about 5fps for me too and ive got a fairly beefy pc.
I guess it's impossible to optimise the thing if it's all generated.
