I was wondering, since I am starting to work on a soccer game, whether this is possible or not:
The player can draw the head of the player all by itself (so it's not like you can choose from hairstyle, eyes, skin colour etc) by using the Draw Object. Since I figured out that there is no save function to come with this object, I wonder how to save the head that the player has just customized. Is there any object extension that can take a screenshot of a certain part of the screen (the part where the Draw field is located) ??? Or is there an other way to do this?
I could also just say: you can edit the heads of the players in Paint...
But I would rather like to see this feature in game. Anyone?
Hey mates, I'm Iglo yeah =P!

Sure, this is doable.
I'm assuming you're using MMF1.5.
The Screen Capture Object will capture and save a picture in a certain area.
Get it to save a bmp file to the hard disk. Then load the picture in an Active Picture Object.

I am not using MMF for so long so I have not seen that before
But this is great. You could also make a screenshot from an action game and then make it as a picture in a newspaper. I think they do that in sim city.
