Now that Clickteam have announced (actually it was some time ago) that all other click products will be unavailable after the launch of TGF2 and MMF2. Some good news may be that we won't have the same amount of people who are newbs just because of their software (i'm not saying all TGF users are newbs though ). Or is this all just a trick to make us poor clickers pay more? Well, another thing is, will we be able to share our old outdated TGF:s and MMF:s however we want. Does it matter? Actually this doesn't concern me at all since i've got all three of them, but I just want to know what you people think.
MMF 1.5 won't be freeware. But it won't be supported either or sold. MMF2 is the new "big thing" and Clickteam'll want to get all their profit from that. They won't want to sell anything else at lower prices, however, there's a possibility that they may allow MMF 1.5 to be made available for the occasional magazine in the distant future as it becomes obsolete.
There is a huge flaw with releasing MMF as freeware though; you need the serial number to instal the updates and bonus packs. That serial number also gets you discounts. unless they bundle the updates and bonus packs in a zip or whatever.
